MYRIAM’S SERIES (winter 2023-2024)

GRAIL SERIES: As Without, So Within

With the help of six Soul-Images which represent the Grail, that I created in the autumn of 2023, this article is an invitation to cross a mysterious inner Threshold; it opens onto a space where the boundary between self and experience becomes blurred, diaphanous, allowing for a quiet and powerful Presence. Here, perhaps, the Sacred Feminine and the Sacred Masculine meet.

INNER TEMPLE SERIES – The Invitation

This series gathers several works that, in my feeling, share a common underlying theme – the INVITATION – expressed in various tones. I named this series Inner Temple because the primary invitation is to enter within oneself. Along the way, I discovered that it could also allude to an inner circular path, where the beginning and the end coincide. You can find the whole article here.

LI 理 SERIES – The Constitutive Harmony of the Living (2023)

This series of works relates to what I have tried to describe in my first article on the Taoist and Confucian principle that has always fascinated me the most, Li 理, which I invite you to read before looking at the images contained in this video.

The Chinese classical texts that inspire the artworks are posteriori inspirations, as first of all my hands assembled on some choosen wooden board what you see in this video. The words, as well as the titles, appeared afterwards, quite spontaneously, inspired by my long and passionate acquaintance with the great classical Taoist texts, Chinese art and Qigong.
